LISTEN TO SERVICE Arvil Ray Wilson Wellington- Arvil Ray Wilson passed away on November 29, 2014 at the age of 77 from complications due to heart failure. Arvil was born in Hiawatha, Utah on February 14, 1937 to Merrion (Jack) Wilson and Viola Wilson. He married the love of his life, Elaine Bunderson Wilson on November 23, 1956. They were married for 49 wonderful years. Their marriage was solemnized for time and all eternity in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Arvil and Elaine were the devoted parents of 10 children. He spent his life working hard to care for his family. He worked as a coal miner and an electrician in the shop at the coal mine in East Carbon while helping to run the family farm with his dad. He later worked for Fausett Mortuary and Mad Man Basso Auto Sales. He enjoyed the many friends he made while working his various jobs throughout his life. He was known by many as "good old Mr. Wilson" because of his kind heart, loving way of helping those in need, and being a friend to all. He also loved serving the community and being involved. He served two terms on the Wellington City Council. He was a devoted member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, serving faithfully in many capacities. Arvil is survived by his sister KLene (Kenny) Powell of Wellington, his children; Pamela Wilson, Logan; Sheri (John) Westenskow, Logan; Dan (Tina) Wilson, Parker Texas; Darlene (Dave) Christensen, Richfield; Diane (Ken) Christensen, Bancroft, Idaho; Brad (Lori) Wilson, Rupert, Idaho; Machele (George) Schade, American Fork; James Wilson, Lehi; 28 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Preceding him in death is his wife; Elaine Bunderson Wilson, two sons; Michael Ray Wilson and Todd Ray Wilson; parents, brother- Earl Wilson, and sister- Patsy Wilson Danielson. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the Wellington LDS 4th Ward Chapel (50 North 100 East.) A viewing will be held on Tuesday, December 2, 2014 from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Fausett Mortuary in Price and also on Wednesday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. prior to the services at the church. Burial will be in the Wellington City Cemetery. Services are in the care of Fausett Mortuary. Family and friends may sign the guestbook and share memories of Arvil at www.fausettmortuay.com.
