Billee Hatch

May 8, 1948 — April 3, 2023

Billee Arlene Alldridge Hatch, beloved wife, mother, Meema, sister, and friend returned home to her Father in Heaven early April 4, 2023 after a long battle with cancer that she fought with dignity and grace, surrounded by love. Billee was born May 8, 1948, loving daughter of Elva Joy and James William Alldridge. She graduated from Hillcrest High School in 1966. Billee met the love of her life, Wendell H Hatch on her 16th birthday in Midville, UT. They were married in Las Vegas, NV on September 16,1967 and have been sweethearts for 59 years. Billee and Wendell raised six wonderful children: Morgan (Kristina) Hatch, Kellee Healy, Tamee (Derek) Beagley, Jennee (Dave) Mangum, Eric (Andrea) Hatch, and Johnee (Mark) Mortensen. Along with 23 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren, who all lovingly called her Meema. Meema loved each and every one of her family members with her whole heart and made every one of them feel like they were her favorite. Meema was a bright and intelligent woman, and became a nurse after many many years of being an EMT. She began her nursing career in Price, UT, at the College of Eastern Utah, where she was salutatorian of her nursing class. She obtained her LPN license in Nov. 1987 and her RN license in Sept. 1990. She worked at Castleview Hospital in the Women's Services department as a Labor & Delivery and Nursery nurse, where she welcomed thousands of new lives into the world, was known for bringing hope and comfort to her patients - both big and small- during some of the biggest moments of their lives, sharing her vast knowledge with generations of new nurses, and her amazing IV skills that made many of her co-works envious. Meema had a passion for painting, woodworking, being a master carpenter, and quilt maker. She painted many beautiful paintings, made several beautiful log benches, swings, and beds, refurbished many houses -hers included-, as well as quilting hundreds of gorgeous quilts; every one of them made with love. She also had a passion for spending time in nature, enjoying the beauty of God's creations. Through her many passions and work she gained many friends whom she loved and cherished, who loved and cherished her in return. Meema is survived by her forever sweetheart Wendell H Hatch, 6 children, 22 grandchildren, and 29 great grandchildren. As well as her siblings: Randy (Merrill) Ross, Jody Bowden, Jamie (Gonzo) San Miguel, Cody (Holly) Alldridge, DeeDee (Tom) Goff, Shawnee (Randy) Lewis; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews. Preceded in death by her grandparents, very special grandma Jones, mother Elva Joy Alldridge, father James William Alldridge, brother James Ryan Alldridge, granddaughter Tiawna Kaye Horrocks Hatch, and many others. Meema was able to leave her earthly body and run into the arms of her loved ones who have been waiting to bring her home, where she will be able to finally love on her sweet Mom and Dad. Funeral services will be Tuesday. April 11 at 10am at the Emery town church. Services will be held at the Emery Town church. Tuesday April 11th at 10:00 am.
