Brian Alan Ezell from Helper, Utah passed away due to injuries from a motorcycle accident on July 24, 2025.
He was born to Terry and Jodi Lee Ezell on August 15, 1984. Brian was the youngest of three beautiful children; James, Corin and Brian.
Brian’s life on this earth was bigger than an obituary which makes it hard for me to know where to start. He loved everything this life had to offer. Some hobbies include camping, fishing, hiking, 4 wheeling and boating. However, being on his Harley was what he loved most.
Brian was very smart. He could figure anything out, that is just how he was wired. These past couple of years Brian was changing on the inside. It was as if his heart had eyes for others. He figured out that Jesus was real, not because of what he was told but because of what he was experiencing. He asked the Lord to show him who he was. This overwhelming love poured over him. It flowed through his heart and changed everything about him. He would talk to me about 1 Corinthians 13:1-13. It’s basically titled “The Excellence of Love.” Let’s start with verse 3. And if I give all my possessions to feed the poor but do not have love, I am nothing. Verse 4 “Love is patient, love is kind and is not jealous, love does not brag, is not arrogant, does not act unbecomingly, it does not seek its own. Is not provoked, does not take into account a wrong suffered. Does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with truth, it bears all things, believes all things and endures all things. But now faith, hope, love abide these three but the greatest of these was love.
When Brian spent time with you he showed you love, if he sat up with you at night he showed you love. If he sat in the dirt with you he showed you love. If he gave you a hug he showed you love. If he met you for the first time he showed you love. Brian had that light in him that drew people to him. He always listened and never judged. These are the things Brian lived by. He always wanted to be a better man, son, dad, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend than he was yesterday.
My son is going to be missed by so many people. Please take to heart every word he spoke to you because he showed you love.
Survived by his mother, Jodi Ezell; sister, Corin (Nathan) Howerton; nieces, BryLee (Steven) Menzo, Lily Ezell; great niece, Vylet; nephews, Thomas, Isaac, Alex and little James Ezell; daughter, Tavi Quintana; many uncles, aunts and cousins.
Preceded in death by grandparents, Dale and Laraine Lee; great uncle and aunt, Dennis and Debbie Lee; father, Terry Ezell; brother, James Ezell; cousin, Brandon Petzold; great nephew, Saul Menzo.
We are all so heartbroken, but as Brian would say “leaving this realm means I’m home with Jesus.” Love you son!
