Buddy Franklin

Buddy James Franklin of Price passed away at the age of 63 on August 23, 2021. Buddy was born in Price, Utah to James Franklin and Judy Bergan. Buddy loved his coke, fishing, camping, going to Lagoon, and listening to music; to which he never missed a beat. He loved animals and had a heart of gold. He was a master escape artist and loved to tease. Buddy had a smirk that will never be forgotten. He loved his family and extended family. Many will miss him, as he was everyone's "Uncle Bud." Buddy taught so many of us the art of laughter, compassion, love, patience, and how to enjoy life to the fullest. The family would like to extend a special thank you to all of Buddy's Rise family who cared for him over the past 20 years. Buddy leaves behind his loving mother, Judy Bergan and father, James Franklin. A sister Terrie (John) McCullough and a brother Don (Shirley) Franklin along with nephews; Branden (Heather) Fletcher, Bryon Fletcher, Joshua Franklin and a niece Amber Franklin. Three Great nieces; Victoria, Aubrey, Brylynn, and two great nephews; Braden and Brett. Preceded in death by sisters; Sherry Kay and Jamie Deon. Grandparents; Claude and Wanda Jones, and Andrew and Ina Franklin. Uncle Dick and Aunt Claudette Shade, Uncle Buddy and Aunt Grace, and a nephew; Bradley Fletcher. Funeral Services for Buddy will be held on Friday, August 27, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at Fausett Mortuary; located at 680 East 100 South, Price, Utah. A viewing will be held one hour prior; starting at 10:00 a.m. also at the mortuary. Interment will take place following the services at the Wellington City Cemetery.
