Carl Fredrick Maser, ll
January 27, 1981 - April 26, 2024

CASTLE DALE- Our loving, charismatic, vivacious Son, Brother, Uncle, Nephew, Cousin and friend, Carl Fredrick Maser, II, passed away unexpectedly at the home of his mother in Castle Dale, UT on Friday, April26, 2024.
Carl was born in Rock Springs, WY., on January 27,1981. He was the first-born son of Donald Carl Maser of Rock Springs, WY and Penny Lee Eden of Castle Dale, UT.
Carl never wanted to be like everyone else - he wanted to be himself. And he was! He was so good at making people laugh. He was a very kindhearted soul. He loved helping others any way possible. You knew you had a special place in his heart when he gave you a nickname, and he would ALWAYS used it. Carl was never ashamed of who he was, you either liked him or you didn't, however, I promise you would like him, his personality didn't leave room for any doubt of who he was. Carl was a very caring soul, he loved everything! His cat Mickey, even though she stayed with me. She was just shy of 21 years old and would talk and rub all over him and bring him gross little gifts of love. Carl loved dogs, the bigger the better! He helped me save baby birds because we couldn't just watch them die...then he'd tell his cat "you'd better not eat this one!" He had such a kind and caring spirit!
Carl loved wrenching on cars-he would Youtube anything he couldn't figure out. He loved hiking in the mountains or the desert. He LOVED skateboarding and snowboarding, shooting guns, fishing, rock hounding and spending time with people making them laugh. He was so full of life that at times you felt he was larger than life itself and no matter what, he left you feeling better than you did before you saw him. Carl was always ready for his next big adventure. He was so intelligent but still loved to learn new things. He was always studying, researching, and learning.
Carl had several different occupations in his life. He started out welding, was a cook, a prep chef and chef, a manager, oilfield worker, coal miner and installed solar panels.
Carl lived in Wyoming, Colorado, Illinois, California, and Utah. He made friends easily and enjoyed seeing the sights and museums of each place he lived.
Carl will be missed by so many because he touched so many lives. We love you my bright, smiling, silly son. Fly high Carl and may you forever Rest in Peace!
I, his mother am asking you not to wear perfume or cologne as I suffer, anaphylaxis shock when I breathe it. Thank you in advance for your consideration.
He is survived by his sister, Jennifer Lee (Eric Gunyan), Rock Springs, WY.; his brothers, Leslie Allen Reece, Ferron, UT, and Steven Robert Reece (Audrianna Daniels), Temple, TX.; his Godfather, William Rodney Eden Jr., Price, UT.; his Godmother, Nancy Ruth Wilhite, Bunnell, FL.; he has many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Carl Fredrick and Ruth Maser; his maternal grandparents, William Rodney Eden and Marilyn S Bell.
