EMERY - Carrie Lou Gremel Carrie Lou Gremel age 84 passed away in her home on August 15, 2021. She was born in Delta, Colorado on May 24, 1937, to Harry and Myrtle Killough. She married Wayne Gremel. They were married on May 24, 1956, in Delta, Colorado. Throughout her life she had the opportunity to live in 5 different states, Colorado, Utah, South Dakota, California, and Arizona. Carrie worked for the Colorado Bank and Trust for 9 years after which the family moved to Utah where she worked for Console Coal Company for 17 years. Carrie was very thoughtful and cared about others. She enjoyed the outdoors, gardening and spent most of her days traveling many miles on horseback while doing ranch work and hunting. She was an excellent cook. She liked flowers and her large geode rock painted as a smiley face. Carrie Lou was preceded in death by three sisters, Ruth Young, Edna VanCleave, and Phillis Hoffabur, one brother, Hurchel Hendrickson, and an infant son. She is survived by loving husband Wayne Gremel, her two sons Clay (Gina) Gremel of Elko, Nevada, and Cody Gremel of Carbondale, Colorado. Arrangements are in the care of Fausett Mortuary.
