Orangeville, Utah - Connie Box, 72, passed away September 14, 2017 at her home in Orangeville, Utah. She was born September 26, 1944 in Salt Lake City to Varian Box and Irma Christiansen Box. Connie was raised in Ferron, Utah. She was among the first graduating class of Emery High School and later received an associate degree in business. She was a dedicated member of the LDS church. Connie enjoyed seeing new places and made many of them her home before coming back to Ferron, where she and her husband ran the Ferron Cafe for a few years. Connie was a beautiful and talented seamstress and opened her own business for a while in Salt Lake City and later in Missoula, Montana and in Ferron before retirement. Connie enjoyed skiing, fishing and spending time with her family. She is survived by her children, Tammy and Steve Ore, and Byron Stilson; grandchildren, Teress Ore, Nathen Ore and Ashley Ore; three great grandchildren, Brooklyn, Brandi and Braxton Ore; and her sisters, Joyce Allen, JoAnn Behling and Marian "Mary" Jenkins. She is preceded in death by her parents, Varian Box and Irma Christiansen Box. Funeral services will be Saturday, September 23, 2017 at 11:00 AM at the LDS church, 35 W 200 N, Ferron, Utah. Viewing will be one hour prior to funeral services at the LDS church as well as Friday, September 22, 2017 for 6:00-8:00 PM at Fausett Mortuary, 720 N Center Street, Castle Dale, Utah. Interment will be in the Ferron Cemetery. Services are in the care of Fausett Mortuary. Friends and family may sign the guest book and share memories of Connie at www.fausettmortuary.com.
