Deborah Allen was born January 18,1959, in Price Utah to Lewis and Marian Allen. She was the second child out of their 6 children. She passed away unexpectedly on July 25, 2025.
Starting from a young age Deborah was known for her kindness and giving spirit. Everyone in Green River has a story involving her. She always went out of her way to make someone feel special and loved, whether it was gifting a card on any occasion, one of her homemade jams, or one of her Christmas plates, she put a lot of love into everything that she did and went above and beyond for everyone she cared for.
She was a very devoted member of the LDS church. Deborah had a very strong testimony and passion for the church. She enjoyed her time in relief society where her friendships and faith grew stronger.
Deborah was a hard worker and enjoyed each job that she had. One of her favorites was working at the Vetere Melon stand meeting new people and telling them about her hometown. During her time there she met the love of her life, Jose Carlos Rojas. She always told her family how she knew she loved him from the first time she saw him. They were then married in May of 2005.
Although Deborah didn’t have children of her own, she shared all her love with her family. Anyone that knew Deborah knew that she loved her nieces endlessly. She would always offer a story about what the girls were up to and was always so proud of everything that they did.
She is survived by her siblings, Levi Allen, Blaine Allen, and Doreen (Ben) Lehnhoff of Green River; she had 9 nieces and 1 nephew, and a lot of great nieces and great nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Lewis and Marian; her brothers, Ted and Ken; her husband; Jose Carlos Rojas.
A Celebration of Life will be on August 9, 2025, at 11:00 am in Green River at the Green River LDS Ward where the family will receive friends one hour prior to service.
The family would like to thank the Emery County Sheriff’s Office, the Green River Fire Department, and ACE Hardware for their service and kindness during this difficult time. Arrangements are in the trusted care of Fausett Mortuaries where family and friends are always welcome and may share memories online at www.fausettmortuary.com.
