Duane George Pearson, 67, passed away at his home in Elmo on June 18, 2020 surrounded by his family. He was born on December 12, 1952 in Price, Utah to George Wagstaff & RaeDell Long Pearson. He married the girl next door, his high school sweetheart Barbara Nunn. They were married June 19, 1971 in Lynwood, California. He loved being in the outdoors, Duane was an avid hunter and fisherman that enjoyed camping, farming and spending time with his family. His favorite outing was loading up the horses and taking backpacking trips to the Bookcliffs. He loved being surrounded by family especially his grandkids. His saying was "The More the Merrier" and he was always the center of attention. Duane was a jack of all trades that enjoyed tinkering with many projects. He was loved by all and will be missed by many. Duane left a legacy of love and laughter. Survived by his wife Barbara Allen Pearson of 49 years, mother RaeDell Pearson, children Duane "Bud" George (Kirsten) Pearson Jr of Mesquite, Nevada, James "JP" Edward Pearson of Evanston, Wyoming, Tonya "Tonka" Rae Pearson of Elmo, Ella Marie (Joe) Ekker of Elmo, William "Willis" Boyd (Denise) Pearson of Elmo, and Shylo Ann "Lovey" (Preston) Busch of Evanston, Wyoming, 13 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, 6 sisters, 1 brother and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his father, grandparents and brother. A visitation will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2020 at 260 East 100 North, Elmo (Doyle & Kathy Jensen residence) from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm. A Celebration of Life will follow at same location from 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm. Family and friends may sign the online guestbook and share memories of Duane at www.heritagefuneralhomeutah.com.
