Edna Lindsey

Edna Pressett Lindsey Ogden-East Carbon, Utah- Edna Pressett Lindsey, age 90. Our loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away on January 28, 2009 at her son, Kent's home, in North Ogden, Utah. She was born July 5, 1918 in Sunnyside, Utah to Humbert and Zina (Rasmussen) Pressett. She married Boyd Lindsey, September 2, 1936 in Sunnyside, Utah, marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple, he passed away February 3, 1988. Edna enjoyed playing cards with her friends, children and grandchildren. She loved to quilt and made many beautiful quilts for a lot of people. She loved to cook (and eat) and was famous for her home-made peanut brittle. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and served many church callings, (she was one of the best Visiting Teachers in church history). She was always serving and taking care of others, she worked in the school lunch program for many years. The family would like to thank Alpine Hospice and Home Health Care workers especially Wendy Heiner (her angel nurse). She is survived by two sons; Kent (Linda) Lindsey of North Ogden and Brent Lindsey of Idaho Falls, Idaho, brother; Leon ( Bessie) Pressett of East Carbon, sister-in-law's; Annie Timothy of Spring Glen and Lucille Pressett of Price, 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Boyd, brothers; Herman, Henry, Gene, Humbert, Leroy, Frank, Jack; granddaughter; Tracy Dalton. Funeral services will be Saturday, January 31, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Fausett Mortuary (680 East 100 South-Price, Utah). Viewing will be Saturday, January 31, 2009 from 12:00-1:45 p.m. at Fausett Mortuary. Interment will be in the Price City Cemetery. Services are in the care of Fausett Mortuary.
