Glen Siteman

October 7, 1938 — September 29, 2016

Glen Keith Siteman Father, brother, son and husband, Glen Keith Siteman, left us peacefully in the early morning of September 29, 2016. Glen was born October 7, 1938 to Horace and Odee Siteman in Ship Harbour, Nova Scotia, the youngest of 14 children. Glen possessed a love of the great outdoors and respect for nature. This love and respect were the reasons he made Salt Lake City his home in the early 1960's in addition to meeting his wife, Sammy. He was married on July 7, 1962. Glen retired from Granite School District in the summer of 2001 as a Vocational Instructor helping guide countless young people towards a career in the Graphic Arts. After retirement, Glen was proud to serve as a volunteer in the 2002 Salt Lake Winter Olympics and again in the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics. He made annual trips driving cross country to spend time with his Canadian family staying in Peggy's Cove, Nova Scotia. He is survived by his sisters Erma, Elva, Maxine and Lee; the love of his life, wife, Samaleen Luke, sons Cary, Troy, Brett (Janene) and two grandchildren, Jason and Tyler. Preceded in death by his father and mother, brothers Everette, Freeman, Robert, Earl, Warren, sisters Audrey, Lillian Marie and Freda. Graveside services will be held Saturday, October 15, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. in the Orangeville City Cemetery surrounded by beautiful Wasatch Plateau vistas and the San Rafael Swell. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Lewy Body Foundation or research organizations dedicated to finding a cure for any form of dementia. Family and friends may sign the guestbook and share memories of Glen at www.fausettmortuary.com.
