Biography Greg L. Huntington ORANGEVILLE - Gregory Leonard Huntington, age 41, returned to his Father in Heaven June 30, 2013 from complications of a nine year battle with paralysis. Greg was born January, 3, 1972 to Royal Mack and Julie Ann Oldroyd Huntington. He married Jolynn Peterson in January 2004. They later divorced. Greg was raised in God's Country, Emery County, Orangeville, Utah. As a child he was active in Little League Baseball and Football, Horse 4-H, and Junior Riding Club. He attended elementary school in Castle Dale and Orangeville, Junior High in Ferron, and graduated from Emery High School in 1990, where he was active in Rodeo Team and FFA. Greg was a Champion Team Roper. He won the average at State Finals Rodeo two years in a row. He worked at Castle Valley Ranch where he could work and live his dream at the same time. Greg was raised a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He recently went to the Mount Timpanogos LDS Temple in December 2012. Greg was a practical joker. He loved to tease and play jokes on his friends and family. He was honest and always willing to help anyone. He loved the farming life spending many hours a day on the family farm and family pastures at Joes Valley. He loved team roping, horses, cattle, his dogs, and Corriente roping cattle. Greg had a love for children, especially his nieces and nephews who absolutely adored him in return. Even though Greg's accident left him handicapped, he still loved to give orders, herd cows with his wheelchair, drive his truck, and still be a cowboy!
