Gregory Norton

Gregory Guy Norton passed away peacefully on October 17, 2019 in Price, Utah. He was born in Price to Howard Charles and Lucy Ann Lopez Norton on February 26, 1953. He married Carol Ann Bearensen in Price on August 19, 1973. He was raised in Helper, Utah and was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He graduated from Carbon High School in 1971. He attended UVSU and earned an Associated Degree in Fire Science. He worked for Price City for a few years, then worked for Joy (Kamat'su) for 40 years. He was also a firefighter for 36 years. He enjoyed camping, traveling, and reading. He is survived by his children, Judy Norton and Greg Norton from Price; one brother, Howard Norton, Henderson, Nevada; two aunts, Davalene from Sandy, Utah; Barbara from Arizona; and nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his wife, Carol, parents Howard and Lucy, his grandparent, his sister Christine, two aunts and an uncle. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, Oct 23, 2019 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints' Price Stake Center at 150 South 5th East at 10:00 a.m. A viewing will be held from 9:00 - 10:00 a.m. at the same location.
