Helene Anderson Majors 1930-2022
Helene passed away on July 11, 2022 in St George, Utah at the age of 92, with her devoted husband Roger Majors by her side.
She was born on June 7, 1930 in Price, Utah to Eugene and Rhea Anderson. She married Thomas Evans Steele on May 4, 1950. Together they had three children, Susan K (Lee) Markley, Thomas Craig (Karen) Steele and Eugene A (Michelle) Steele. Tom passed away in December of 1977.
Helene had a long career working for Lockheed Aircraft at Luke Air Force Base. She finished her work life with Luke Federal Credit Union (Now Credit Union West).
Upon retirement, she moved back to Price, there she met Roger Johnson Majors. They were married on August 27, 1983. Helene gained three more children, Deena Gregory, Rodney Wade (Liz) Majors and Jace Arnold (Rebecca) Majors. They spent the next 39 years breeding horses and raising colts. They both shared the same passion for horses. She was very active in Daughters of Utah Pioneers as well as holding many positions in the LDS Church.
She was preceded in death by her Parents and brother LaMoyne Anderson. She is survived by her husband Roger Majors, sister Gwen Thompson, her 3/3 Children, 6/11 Grandchildren, 10/22 Great Grand Children and 2/26 Great-Great Grandchildren.
Helene will be buried July 23, 2022 in The Price City Cemetery at 1:00 pm.
