Janet Gay Leamaster HUNTINGTON - Janet Gay Leamaster, age 77, passed away September 3, 2011 in Huntington, Utah. She was born August 31, 1934 to Ted R. Nielson and Verna L. Leonard in Huntington, Utah. She married Del B. Leamaster on November 13, 1954 in Huntington, Utah. Their marriage was later solemnized on April 9, 2011 in the Manti LDS Temple. Janet was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She sang with the women's choir, served on the North Emery High School reunion committee and also on the Desertview Credit supervisory committee. She loved her dogs and also loved her life's work as a floral designer. She is survived by her husband, Del; 4 children: Joni L. (Steven) Miller of Mapleton, Utah, Kelly (Steve) Wilson of Huntington, Utah, Ronni (Tony) Torre of Huntington, Utah, and Cassie L. Brown of Las Vegas, Nevada; 10 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and sister, Patricia Fessenden of Salt Lake City, Utah. Preceded in death by her parents; brother, Hal Nielson; and sister, Virginia Howard. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, September 8, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the Huntington 4th Ward Chapel (240 North Main - Huntington, Utah.) A viewing will be held Wednesday, September 7, 2011 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Fausett Mortuary (720 North Center - Castle Dale, Utah) and on Thursday from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. prior to the service at the church. Interment will be in the Huntington City Cemetery. Services are in the care of Fausett Mortuary. Family and friends may sign the guest book and share memories of Janet at www.fausettmortuary.com.
