Kathy Pratt

July 5, 1955 — July 1, 2017

Kathy Robyn Ward Pratt left her mortal remains behind on July 1, 2017, surrounded by her loving family. Kathy was born July 5, 1955 to James L. and Kathryn Fletcher Ward in Richfield, Utah. She was 4th of 7 children growing up in Cleveland, Utah. She was a graduate of Emery High School and served as Miss Emery County in 1973. Kathy married L. Mark Pratt 'deceased' on June 28, 1977. They were blessed with 4 children: Lynn, James Brandon, Clayton and Kelsi Pratt (all of Salt Lake). 5 grandchildren: Dayton, Dice, Chloe, Brandon Jr. and Mark. Kathy left behind 3 sisters, Trudi (Boyd) Griffin, Sandee Ward, Tracee Goff, and 1 brother, Kohn Ward. She is preceded in death by her husband, father, sister Toni Killpack, and brother James 'Jimmy' Ward. Kathy loved flowers, gardening and fishing. She had a green thumb and was always excited to start a new yard project. She loved shopping and especially at Wal-Mart! She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Kathy was a very strong, courageous, woman. She battled Leukemia, Parkinson's, Osteoporosis, and a broken hip. She fought a valiant fight with Leo Keiser (Price) by her side. Her family wants to thank him for the love and support he has shown her through the past 8 years. And a special thanks to those that helped her through the last months after the broken hip, also a special thanks to Brydi, Karen, Brink and many other nieces and nephews and her gentle giant Dayton, for all the walks and nights spent caring for her. A family farewell was held July 3, 2017 in Cleveland. Thanks to the Cleveland 2nd ward for the luncheon.
