Kirsten Beagley

CASTLE DALE- Kirsten Kate Beagley of Castle Dale returned home to her Father in Heaven on January 20, 2024, after a tragic accident while sledding.

Kirsten was born on November 28, 2005, to Kyle and Janell Beagley, the second of four children, in Logan, Utah. She had a love for life and shared her smile and testimony with everyone around her.

Kirsten attended school at Castle Dale Elementary and Ephraim Elementary and Ephraim Middle School. Then the family moved back to Castle Dale and she attended San Rafael Middle School and Emery High School.

From a young age, she enjoyed playing the piano and she developed a love of dancing. She spent countless hours developing her skills and was dedicated to attending early morning dance practices when she made the Spardettes Drill Team. The drill team was a huge part of her life and she was almost finished with her 4th year on the team. This year she served as captain. She had just received Academic All Region and All Region awards at the Region Drill competition in Delta on Friday. She had made a goal to win a drill down this season and was ecstatic when she achieved that goal at the Davis High School competition on January 6. Kirsten was a member of the student council and the Emery Golf Team and was looking forward to the upcoming golf season as well.

Kirsten was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was dedicated to her faith. She was also a member of the Emery High Seminary Council and loved speaking and singing with them in wards throughout the county. Her testimony of the Savior had grown so much during the past year and she uplifted everyone who knew her.

She loved to spend time with her family and friends and was always up for an adventure whether it was up to the mountains or a quick drive to Maverik. Her family spent a lot of time camping and taking trips. She loved jamming out to music and hanging out with friends.

So many people have mentioned how much of a light she was in their lives. She always had a smile on her face, a positive attitude and she has touched the lives of many.  She had a contagious laugh and a quick smile. We know that she is being taken care of by loving ancestors and family on the other side. She had planned to serve a mission and we know that her call to serve is different from the one she had planned, but it will be one of great importance in bringing her eternal family to the gospel.  Her work is not done.  We love you, Kirsten, and our prayers are with you.  Shine bright, dance strong and continue sharing your beautiful spirit.

She is survived by her parents Kyle and Janell Beagley; sisters, Jannika (Parker) Hills, Clarissa Beagley; brother, Ky Beagley; grandparents, Steve (Rose) Beagley of Ferron and Gayle (Jeff) Hill of Price and Kathryn Seely of Castle Dale; uncles, aunts, cousins and many friends.

She is preceded in death by her aunts, Monette Seely and Valerie James; uncle, Thane Thalman; and her grandfather, Montell Seely.

The family would like to thank the community for their outpouring of love and support at this tragic and difficult time. Our hearts are very heavy and all of you have lifted us immensely. We love you all and appreciate you more than you will ever know.
