Leland Willson

September 12, 1942 — January 15, 2021

Leland W. Willson, age 78, our beloved dad, grandpa, great grandpa, brother and friend returned to his heavenly home on January 15, 2021. He was born to Myron and Ada Willson on September 12, 1942 in Price, Utah. He married Louise Golding on September 15, 1962. They were sealed in the Manti Temple on May 21, 2016. Dad always had a horse because he felt life was not worth living without one. He worked in the coal mines in Utah and Colorado. He always would lighten the mood with his prankster attitude. He loved his family and it showed by the way he took care of our mom the last few years of her life. He took extra pride with his grandkids and great grandkids. Leland is survived by children Lisa (Lane) Pilling, Kirk (Dana) Willson, Toni (Craig) Trolin, Tina (Dwayne) Larsen and Matthew (Jeanie) Willson; 22 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; brother Ellis and sisters Lana (Ray) and Aurelia. He was preceded in death by parents; wife Louise; brothers Lewie (Bonnie) and Pat (Kay); sister Polley; brother-in-law Alan and sister-in-law LouJean.
