Lewis David Allen Lewis David Allen, 82 of Perris, California formerly of Green River, Utah, passed away on Tuesday, April 24, 2012, in Riverside, California. He was born on Tuesday, June 18, 1929 in Utah to Joseph and Else Allen. He was the husband of Marian Allen for 49 wonderful years. Lewis served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He worked for the Moreno Valley School District for 15 years. He was a dedicated member of The Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints, and served in many capacities. He enjoyed gardening, rock collecting, fishing and reading books on history. Lewis was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Marian and son, Ken Allen. He is survived by 3 sons, Ted Allen, Levi Allen and Blaine Allen; 2 daughters, Doreen Allen and Deborah Rojas; 9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Green River LDS Chapel. A viewing will be Wednesday from 9:30-10:30 at the church prior to the services. Interment will be in the Elgin Cemetery. Services are in the care of Fausett Mortuary. Friends and family may sing the guest book and share memories of Lewis at www.fausettmortuary.com.
