Marita Anne Olsen Rollins
Marita Rollins, 70, passed away at home, October 26, 2021. She was born May 23, 1951 in Price Utah to Eldon Arthur and Ethel Elizabeth Olsen. She married Byron Lee Rollins on October 30, 1970 in Ferron, Utah and later solemnized their marriage in the Provo Temple on December 10, 1977.
She enjoyed quilting, crafts, sewing, fishing, and camping. She had the opportunity to live in Mayport, Florida, Payson, Richfield, Venice, Huntington, Lawrence, and Ferron, Utah.
She worked at Corretts in Castle Dale and for many years at the Emery County Nursing Home. She held many jobs in the LDS church.
She was raised in Ferron until her marriage after graduating from Emery High School in 1969.
Marita is survived by her husband, Byron Lee Rollins, son Kim (Lorie) Rollins, daughter Kelli (Adam) Pilling, daughter Kyla (Ray) Monosso, daughter Danielle (Daniel Boatwright) Cornish, son Dustin (Megan) Rollins, 23 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Also sister Marilyn Young, brothers Sherril (Lorraine) Olsen, Lamar (Laurie) Olsen, Jerry (Sue) Olsen and sister Connie (Steve) Johnson.
Marita was preceded in death by her parents, Eldon and Elizabeth Olsen, in-laws Basil and Alice Rollins, 3 brothers in-law George Rollins, Calvin Rollins, and Merril Young and a son in-law Cory Cornish.
Funeral Service will be held Friday, October 29, 2021 at 1 pm at the Ferron Millsite Ward LDS Church, 45 West 200 North, Ferron, Utah. Family will receive friends one hour prior to service. Viewing will be Thursday, October 28, 2021 from 6 pm to 7 pm at Fausett Mortuary 720 No. Center Street, Castle Dale, Utah. Livestreaming of the services will be provided on the Fausett Mortuary Facebook Page.
