LISTEN TO SERVICE Mary Ann Wild Carroll Castle Dale/Ferron: Mary Ann Carroll "Annie," age 63, passed away, Monday, December 22, 2014 at the Emery County Care Center. She was born September 12, 1951 in Price, Utah, one of five children born to Owen and Norma Sitterud Wild. Ann grew up in Ferron and graduated from Emery High School in 1971. In her younger years she enjoyed showing her calf at the stock show, along with her siblings. Ann was an avid reader, her favorite author was Stephen King. She loved animals, especially cats and her favorite horse Red. She always enjoyed a cup of cappuccino, going on drives to the desert and mountains, and to JB's with her loving companion Ken. Ann was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She worked for Deseret Industries for four years. Then she went on to work at Wal-mart where she stayed for over 20 years. She loved greeting people and seeing friends and family while doing her job. She also had many good things to say about the great people that she worked with there and had many special friendships. All who knew her could see that she was a very hard worker. She will be remembered as a caring and loving companion, sister, aunt and friend who only had kind words for everyone. Ann is survived by her lifelong companion of over 28 years, Ken Maxfield of Castle Dale, siblings, Don (Star) Wild of Sunset, UT, Sharlene (Jon) Chiaretta of Ferron, Carla Caldwell of Ferron and Suzanne (Les) Mortensen of Cleveland. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother -in-law, Curtis Caldwell and great nephew, Jordan McCourt. Funeral services will be Monday, December 29, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Fausett Mortuary in Castle Dale, (720 N. Center Street) with a viewing from 1:00-1:45 p.m., prior to the services.
