Nancy Vance

Nancy Lynn Vance 1946-2020 Our beloved mother and daughter, Nancy Lynn Vance, passed away peacefully after battling Alzheimer's/Dementia for several years. Nancy was born September 6, 1946 in St. Anthony, Idaho to Wilma Kneedy Kummer and James Kneedy. They were divorced when Nancy was a child where later Wilma married R. LaMar Kummer whom Nancy considered as a devoted father figure. Nancy lived in West Jordan for 30+ years where she raised her son, Bob Horsley and daughter, Jamie Vance. Nancy worked for Harman Music Group for several years where she had made numerous friends. She enjoyed going to movies and shopping. Nancy loved her furry companions, Gizmo and Mason. She became a full-time resident at the Wentworth Assisted Living at Draper for the last three years of her life as her dementia progressed. My mom lost my sister, Jamie in 2006. After this loss of her daughter, it was very difficult for her to keep moving forward each day and was very hard for her to live her life as she used to. Nancy is preceded in death by her parents and daughter. Nancy is survived by son, Bob Horsley and wife Rachel. Graveside service will be held Tuesday, April 7th, 2020 at Cleveland City Cemetery.
