Rhea Stilson

Rhea Lou Gardner Stilson Rhea Lou Gardner Stilson passed away on August 21, 2013. At 5:30 a.m. in Springville, Utah. She struggled for such a long time and finally gave up the fight to go and be with the love of her life, Fera "Gene" Stilson. She was preceded in death by her husband Fera "Gene" Stilson and her parents Thyra Lou Nelson Gardner and Dee Albert Gardner. She is survived by her 5 children, Kari Lou (Phil) Trujillo of Las Vegas, Nevada, Lori Ann (Art) Lyon of Orangeville, Utah, Loni Gene Stilson of Payson, Utah, Susi Kay (Terry) Dalton of Indianola, Utah, and Jodi Lynn Stilson of Atlanta, Georgia. Her 11 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Rhea and Gene took in several foster-kids over the years one with whom they have stayed in touch with over the years, Mack Curtis. She was a very dedicated mother and an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She had many hobbies over the years that she took very seriously including, calligraphy, cake decorating, toll painting and was a member of the Sweet Adelines for many years. She and our father were Gypsies at heart and they took us all with them in their many travels all across the country and back many times. We had some wonderful family trips, including yearly trips with her mom and dad, sister, brother and all their kids. We will all really miss her, but are happy that her journey here is over and she has returned to the loving arms of her husband, she missed his hugs. Funeral services will be on Saturday August 24, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at the Orangeville LDS 1st Ward. A viewing will be held on Saturday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
