Rose Marlene Pettet Oliver Our beloved Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother and friend to all, passed away in Price, Utah on October 19, 2016 of natural causes. She was born September 18, 1931, in SLC, Utah to Thomas Henry & Lavon Bartholomew Pettet. She was married to Daniel Hawkins (later divorced), and Fred Sibert (later divorced). She married the love of her life, Edward Grant "Teddy" Oliver, July 3, 1979. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. She had six children; Thomas Brent Hawkins of Florida, Robert E. Hawkins of West Jordan, Utah, Cheryl Ann Haws of West Valley City, Utah, Vickie Lynn Hawkins of Salt Lake City, Utah, and Roy Fred Sibert of Salt Lake City, Utah. Adopted daughter; Dreama Pitman, 15 Grandchildren, and 17 Great-Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by both her parents, her sister Bettie Reid, and her daughter Ina Sibert Jellins. Rose loved her life and home in Wellington. She had many friends who will lovingly remember her. She was active in her Ward, and was a member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers. We all loved Rose and will miss her. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the many friends and neighbors, especially to Sandy, for the love and service rendered to our beloved mother. Funeral services are Monday, October 24, 2016 12:00 Noon, at the Wellington 2nd Ward. There will be a viewing that morning from 10:30 to 11:45 am, where friends and family are welcome to visit. Interment will be at the Elmo City Cemetery. Funeral Services are entrusted to Fausett Mortuary.
