Shirley Jorgensen

FERRON- Shirley Louisa Black Jorgensen died of natural causes on June 16, 2025. The last years of her life, she lived in her hometown, Ferron, Utah, which her grandparents George A. Foote and Lenah Bell Jones helped to settle.

To her family and friends: I love you all! You all know me, and there is no need to write a long obituary. Please don’t. Thank you for your precious love. May God continue to bless you, and keep you safe in his loving care.

Survived by her children, Dianne (James) Smart, Riverton, Lester (Colleen) Jorgensen, Castle Dale, Michael (Cheryl) Jorgensen, Castle Dale, Scott Jorgensen, Australia; brother, Robert “Bob” Behunin, Indonesia; 21 grandchildren, 49 great-grandchildren and 22 great-great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her parents, Claude Harold and Louisa Foote Black; sons, David and Kenneth Jorgensen.
