Wendy Lee Lackey Palacios SUNNYSIDE - Wendy Lee Lackey Palacios, age 52, passed away February 25, 2014 in East Carbon, Utah. Wendy was born on August 7, 1961 in Redding, CA. Her parents are Bonnie and Emmett Rodriguez. Wendy grew up in Salt Lake City, UT. She received her high school diploma and some college at CMC. She enjoyed being a Christian throughout her life, and helping others. Wendy lived in New Castle, CO for many years before returning to Utah. She was a phlebotomist by trade. Wendy enjoyed crocheting, camping, drinking good coffee, watching true crime investigation shows and going to Wendover. She liked to tease and joke and spend time with family and friends. She is survived by her two daughters: Brandy L. and Nichole Ortiz and her son: Manuel D. Palacios, her parents: Bonnie and Emmett, six grandchildren: Chambre and Esteban Ortiz; Joseph, Emilio and Brandon Garcia, Manuel G. Palacios and one great-grandson Tein Siroteck, sisters: Tammy Tinoco, Maryann Garcia, Dianna Naranjo and Amber Cordova. Preceded in death by grandma Brelsford, grandpa Pete, sister Twanna, brother Doug, aunt Joan, cousin Jack, and nephews Andy and Emilio. Memorial Services will be held Monday, March 3, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Fausett Mortuary Chapel (680 East 100 South Price, UT). The family will receive friends & family from 10:30-11:00 a.m. prior to the services at the mortuary. Services are in the care of Fausett Mortuary.
